Air Import Coordinator
Permstop Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading logistics business based in the LHR area to find a talented Senior Air Imports Clerk to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid air imports background who is ready to step up, take ownership of a busy department and lead a team in a fast-paced, targeted environment. You will be responsible for managing the full import cycle from start to finish — from customs clearances and compliance through to billing, team supervision and stakeholder relationships. Our client is looking for someone who knows their way around UK/EU customs regulations, can hit the ground running, and has the drive to keep a high-performing team on track. If you have a minimum of 3 years' air imports experience and are ready for a role where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an air imports or freight forwarding role
- Strong working knowledge of UK customs procedures and HMRC regulations
- Experience supervising or mentoring a team is highly desirable
- Multimodal knowledge is a bonus but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
