Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Raise and maintain purchase orders and PO logs.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and ensure timely and accurate weekly payment runs.
  • Handle supplier queries and conduct credit card reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare customer invoicing backups and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate revenue data.
  • Generate customer invoices and credit notes and distribute to clients via email.
  • Send monthly account statements and carry out customer account reconciliations and credit control activities.

Financial Accuracy & Reporting

  • Ensure precise record-keeping and reconcile accounts across suppliers and clients.
  • Assist with identifying process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.

System & Process Management

  • Work effectively within SAP and other CRM/accounting systems.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for financial tracking; knowledge of macros and VBA coding is a plus.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support broader finance and operational objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Finance qualification or QBE background (minimum 3 years’ experience)
  • Numerate and enthusiastic, with a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; understanding of macros/VBA is desirable
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Experience using SAP or similar finance/CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willing to work extra hours to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations
